The Intuitive Association of Color and Sound.

This online survey is Phase One of an MFA Communication Design Thesis project
with Texas A&M University-Commerce and the purpose is to explore
the intuitive association of sound and color.

The survey consists of 4 color/sound association questions and should take no more than five minutes to complete.

There will be no personal or face-to-face interviews or surveys used in this study. All information will be acquired through a voluntary online survey. Although gender and age range information will be required to participate, no identifying information such as name, address, ID numbers or ethnicity will be requested from the participant. No information gathered from this survey will be published in any form other than the production and presentation of the required thesis project. Participation in the survey will be limited to participants of the age of eighteen years or older. Language associated with the "click to begin" button will signify that the participant meets the age requirement and consents to the survey. Participants in the survey will be informed, prior to taking the survey, of the reason for the survey and the intended use of the data collected. All participants will be made aware of the expected time frame of the process and will have the option to continue. Additionally, all participants will have the option of terminating the survey at any time. Participants will be asked to answer four questions regarding their perceived association of color and sound. The entire survey process should be an interesting, enjoyable experience and take no longer than five minutes to complete.
